Introduction:
The XYZ Handheld scanner uses Intel RealSense technology to map out an object as a .stl or .obj file.
The scanner offers two unique modes for scanning, 'Head Mode' and 'Object Mode'.
It uses an Intel RealSense Camera with a maximum scan volume:
Head Mode
40 x 25 x 40 cm
Object Mode
5 x 5 x 5 cm

Installation
Once you have verified that your computer meets the minimum requirements you can begin the installation.
NOTE: You may need to have any anti-virus programs or firewalls disabled temporarily to allow the software and drivers to correctly install.
- Install the RealSense Drivers
2. SDK
Your next step will be to install SDK. Click on the second panel labelled '2. SDK' to begin the installation, again you will want to follow the on screen prompts and wait for the installation to complete.
Once complete, please proceed to the next step .
Finally, you will need to install the XYZScan software. This will be used to interface with the handheld scanner. Click on '3.XYZscan' and follow the on screen prompts for the setup wizard and wait for the installation to complete.3. Install XYZScan Software
You have now successfully installed your XYZ handheld scanner. To scan an object simply start up XYZscan and select the handheld scanner when prompted to begin scanning.
